Personally, I don't have a preference and don't find it any more special than any other day of the week. Then again, maybe it is because I love my job and don't wake up wishing my week was over, what about you?
One of my husband's friends stopped this past weekend and said "Of course you don't feel that way, not everyone loves their job." I count my job as a paraprofessional as a blessing yet after two people over break commenting on the rarity of loving one's job...I'm sharing this blessing with all of you.
If today is only "Hump Day" to you, I challenge you to find the wacky and wonderful at your job to make it not the hurdle to the weekend but instead, a pivotal point in the week to change the heart, attitude, or life of another for the good. You have the ability to encourage someone else, regardless of your job calling or location. It's up to you to choose. Who knows, today might be the day you say "It's Wacky Wednesday" and treat your coworkers to lollipops or bubble gum just because it's a silly change.
Eliminate the hump day and put the wacky and wonderful adventure of life you had as a child return to your heart and soul, it's contagious and you'll benefit from the joy you create.
