Today's story was one of my favorites as a child, Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss. This past Friday you learned that mixing yellow and blue together you make a new color, green. It only makes sense to have green for today's color.
Have you tried green eggs and ham before? They are delicious. They may not look very good but guess what they taste like? (do do do do do do do) Yup, they taste like eggs and ham. There is no difference in taste, the only reason they are green is because of food coloring and food coloring does not have a flavor.
The color is for fun. You could eat pink eggs if you wanted to. If you could color your eggs any color, what color would it be? If you haven't heard this story before, I hope you enjoy it. You should watch it with your mom and dad, or grandma and grandpa, because it is probably one of their favorites too. Happy reading?
Today's writing challenge:
This page is a way for me to connect with students, share my passion to write, and hopefully instill this same passion in them as they learn at home.
