The alarm went off at 6 a.m. this morning ~ an appointment at 8:30 a.m. so I figured I wouldn't shut it off (like I did yesterday, lol) BUT...oh yeah, I did! I woke up at 7:30 a.m. With fifteen minutes to get ready before I needed to be out the door, I moved quicker in the a.m. than I have since June. Good practice for next week ~ hopefully by next Tuesday when the alarm goes off at 4:45 a.m., I will get out of bed before I shut the alarm off. I am sure I will, going back to school is exciting ~ the doctor, not so much. lol
Two houses cleaned, bills organized, started to read a new book and finished updating my calendar. Mary worked in the garden, made a couple deliveries of fresh veggies and is concluding her day by babysitting two precious little girls. Too cute. Ed worked and is enjoying some sports on the television while visiting with his brothers on the phone. Once the last couple piles are organized and placed in their new homes, I'm returning to my book for a good read. A busy week ahead, can't believe I will have worked an entire day by this time next week. I can't wait. I should probably get to bed before Midnight ~ then maybe I could get up in the a.m. An all day, shopping day with my daughter tomorrow until I meet a new Ride for Missing Children friend for coffee. As if this isn't exciting enough, after coffee she invited me to meet a group of riders before they head out for a practice ride - what a blessing. I look forward to sharing my story and hope with the riders tomorrow, they ride for our missing children ~ "Keeping our children safer, One child at a time". |
