I spent eight and a half hours working on my book proposal, updating my website, responding to posts, emails and researching yesterday. A friend suggested I "hide out" at my parents when I have a good chunk of time so I can write without distractions. It was a productive day to say the least! I finished my query letter, cover letter and cover page and had started working on the next section when my body couldn't read, write or think in an organized or conherent fashion anymore. I came home from my parents with intentions of reading or crocheting but decided to watch a movie with my daughter - a perfect ending to a great day. Since tomorrow is Martin Luther King day there isn't school so it will be a day devoted to writing. Another friend is meeting me on Tuesday to go over my book proposal - so I must chop, chop so we have something to go over!
Today I enjoyed teaching Sunday school to the preschoolers about Jesus being our shepherd and we are his sheep. He loves us and today we learned He saved us by dying on the cross for our sins and rising again! Amazing. Next week they will learn how Jesus is their protector. I pray you know this too.
After church we enjoyed a breakfast lunch with friends followed by a few games of "Sequence" (The girls won!!!) and wrapped up the afternoon with a couple rounds of "Quiddler" - a fun word game. This is a game on my wish list - love word games.
We're home with high spirits from the time spent with friends and tired for the same very reasons. My hubby is watching football and I'm catching a movie (on VHS) with my daughter! Have a great evening everyone!
Hope you like the new look!
