I met Jody the first time at my writers' critique group. Her love of words and ability to play with them always astounds and encourages me. I haven't read the below books in their entirety as of today but they are in my possession and I look forward to sitting down to read them all. Of course she has shared portions of each during our critique meetings but it is always a joy to see the finished products compared to the pages we edit for each other.

Currently out of print but a great read if is available again: There is a plague infecting millions today. Young, old, rich, poor, believers and non-believers alike. It strips away the ability to think, the will to act, and the drive to succeed. What is this thieving epidemic? Hopelessness. But be of good cheer, there is a cure: Holy Hope. Hope not only embodies the boundless grace of the Father, the self-sacrifice of the Son, and the encouraging promise of the Holy Spirit, but it carries and sustains the believer through difficult times. A right understanding of this Holy Hope is essential to a healthy and intimate relationship with God.
