Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

Answered prayerThe only person aware of my prayers outside my immediate family was God! He is ever faithful and I'm blessed to be His daughter...fabulous earthly parents and an awesome Heavenly Father!
As most of you know I had set a goal to submit my book proposal by Thanksgiving which wasn't met yet after prayer and encouragement from friends, family and you I made it over that hurdle. It is all part of God's plan! For some reason 2010 ended with incomplete goals and projects as it pertains to my writing yet as 2011 came in I realized I hadn't "written" as much as I liked yet I had done a lot of reading and researching. Last week I thought "I'll get a lot of writing done this week!" Not so much so as the week progressed I started to beat myself up again and questioning if I should be writing, if God wanted me to write this book or if the obstacles were created to prevent me from finishing. I shared this with God each day and my family. The past two days God has spoke volumes to me as He encouraged me to keep writing and He was in control and with me. (Duh...I know this yet I lost site of this valuable tidbit) I received emails in the past two days that touched my heart and were witness to God's blessing on my writing. An answer to prayer! I would like to share one with you today. There is a woman by the name of Aimee Lee. I first received an email from Aimee on 8/2/10. We have communicated a couple times since then yet it was an email I received from her yesterday that touched my heart and strengthened me exactly where I needed it. Aimee has written a book about an emotional and disturbing life experience with her daughter. In her email she told me she had submitted her book proposal and was waiting to hear. She also had developed her own webpage. Congratulations Aimee! I asked her permission to share a little with you, along with her website. Aimee said, "Hope you don't mind but I liked your idea of creating a website so much that I made one myself. Feel free to check it out and share with others." Aimee's website: http://windingroadbook.weebly.com/index.html Thank you Aimee ~ God used you to answer a prayer! May God bless you in your pursuit for publication and raising awareness! Lisa :) |
