One Sister's Journey...
A busy and productive day – a couple dozen deviled eggs, watermelon fruit basket, veggie tray, and chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple…the house smelled great. Tomorrow our wonderful cousin, Eddie Pepper will be 26 years old and his mom has a ton of delicious food to fill our stomachs.
Once the food preparations were finished and the dishes were done – my writing partner, Amy came over with her daughter. The girls and Ed played Disney’s Scene It while Amy and I caught up. I shared a tidbit of the information I learned while at the Philly conference and updated her on the completion of my manuscript and who I have submitted my proposal and manuscript to. As I reviewed my notes to share with Amy, I remembered so much. Thank goodness we got together – I’ve started my next list of things to do before school starts. I love it…will miss having hours to writ yet love my job at the school – so a bittersweet week.
I have some ideas for future blogs I plan on putting together next week; some blogs to finish that have been sitting in my draft folder, and ideas to promote my book. I’ve been praying about a topic or two to speak about and who to contact. I have a couple suggestions of people to contact, thanks girls. Next week will be one of relaxing yet I find writing relaxing, lol. Mary likes it too because her free time opens up.
Keep those in line for Irene in your prayers…
