a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
about my book will be made.
"Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey"
is moving forward.
Find out how and when in a few short days.
I might have to stay home so I don't spill the beans.
As I typed "Big Announcement" I thought back a few weeks
to the last time these two words were uttered.
I was unnerved, anxious, and concerned but this time
I am excited, anxious, and thankful.
This announcement is all good and all God.
Thanks for following this blog and for your constant support and prayers.
(If you would like more specific ways to pray -
email me at email@example.com
to be added to my "prayer partners" mailing.
In less than one week an announcement will be made about my book, Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey. I am so excited and look forward to sharing the news with each of you.
It is your support, encouragement, and especially your prayers that keep me motivated and inspired. God uses each of you in special ways in my life.
Hence, I am only one in the pod of God's family! He loves us all and I'm grateful for each of you.
We don't all ripen at the same time (thank goodness) and our taste will vary too but in the end when we trust God with our lives ~ we are all a vibrant green of God's goodness.
Thank you sharing this plant of writing and speaking with me. The posts, emails, notes via snail mail (my favorite), and prayers are witnesses of God's love and provision.
We might live in a big garden of life yet the common bond found in a relationship with Jesus makes it a small world. You are all blessings in my life as I write, speak, and ______ for Him.
Would you like to be one of my prayer partners as I speak and write for Him?
If so, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will add your email to my "Prayer Partners" group.
Who is the most influential person in your life?
Who has impacted your life in ways you could have never fathomed?
Will you share with us in a blog post below?
"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise"
is a familiar theme in the Bible and one that brings
an instant smile to your face.
God is ALWAYS at work in our lives,
the lives of our friends, families, and neighbors.
I believe the reason some might say "God isn't doing anything worth praise in my life" have
probably not slowed down long enough
to notice all God is doing.
In the past week God has shown Himself and
the height of His love in abundant ways.
Even in the midst of altered operations
and extended hospital stays we were
able to see God's hands at work
in our lives. I am so thankful
and lift a multitude of praise to Him.
How can you praise Him today?
On August 12th there will be announcement
about Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey
I have an August 15th deadline to meet so
blogs may not be daily until after this date.
After a few days at the lake and God's beautiful sunset to captivate my attention the following video was made. I hope it touches your heart. I look forward to hearing from you.
I want to let you know blogs will most likely be every other day for the next couple weeks. I have a writing deadline to meet so will be focusing necessary time to meet my August 15th deadline.
Blogs will still be posted but might not be daily. Mark your calendar for an important announcement about my book, "Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey" on August 12th!
Have a great day!
Marcia Wieder's quote challenges us to "...do something that makes our heart sing" EVERY day.
What is one thing you have done today
that made your heart sing?
Did this one thing affect the lives of those
around you and bring them joy too?
As I read this quote I thought of God's "One" thing. He sent his One and Only Son to be born, live among man, and then be crucified and suffer a horrific death so we might all have healing and peace.
God's "One" thing was Jesus yet I am not sure it made His heart sing but instead his One Son has made it possible for us to play and enjoy life. My heart sings because Jesus loved me enough to suffer and die on the cross for my sins...and yours.
Wow! There isn't one thing we could do to
compare with this great Thing.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
What is one thing you could do that would not only
make your heart sing but share
the love of Jesus with those around you?
