Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

I’m excited to announce there will be opportunities for you to visit some of my favorite blogs during the month also. I’ve asked those who blogged about Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey earlier this year if they would like to join in the fun once again ~ I’ve heard from a few and they appear as excited as we are. In addition, there are two teen bloggers joining the blog tour too! How cool is that! I also did a shout out on Facebook in case there are any new bloggers interested in participating. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy catching up with some you met in the Spring, and hopefully meet a new one or two. ![]() The first blog tour consisted of only book reviews. This time the guest blogs consist of reviews, spotlights, connections to related issues, or whatever flavor the individual blogger would like to do. Our only hope is to share hope, Heidi, and remember her throughout her birthday month. So if you are asking, “What might I read on a different blog I don’t already know?” then wonder no longer. I can’t say for certain the new information you might learn but I guarantee you will enjoy seeing the different styles of blogs and getting to know some of the personalities that help to make me the writer, author, speaker, and woman I am today. I know Debbie Twomey is doing a blog on “protecting kids” and is tying Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey and my writing into her theme. Another is spotlighting my books and how we met. There might be videos, interviews, or who knows what. Honestly, the sky is the limit! So WHO is joining the “Birthday Bash Blog Tour” – see below: September 5th: Terri Groh http://www.heartsinservice.blogspot.com/ with details for a “Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey” Book Deal” and a spotlight September 7th: Alyshia Hull http://hullalyshia.wix.com/athousandmiles# a teen author and encourager of mine September 11th: Diane Estrella http://dianeestrella.com/ blogger, writer, mom, and so much more; one of my go-to-girls September 16th: Michelle W http://randomwritingrants.com/ Michelle’s newest release, “Cache a Predator” is gaining momentum September 19th: Debbie Twomey http://www.debbietwomey.com/ a Social Media guru helping others reach their goals September 23rd: Dr. Mary Starr http://www.thetotalwellnessdoc.com/ wellness doc, another business guru with a heart for helping others, and a decade old friend September 26th: Mags Buske http://amagsmoment.weebly.com/ another teen writer and an advocate for the missing and their families I encourage you to visit the “Book Review” page on my site if you’ve forgotten who reviewed Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey so far. Feel free to share and comment on any of the past posts – who knows, your comment might be the nudge the blogger needs to join us for another blog tour at #OneSistersJourney. As of today there are seven bloggers setting aside a day to share Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey with their readers, with eleven dates still available. If you’re interested, it’s not too late ~ email me today at lbuskewriter@aol.com A blog tour is so much fun, let's get connected! |
