Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

![]() Okay, this post might get some negative feedback but I'm sharing it anyway. I understand the seriousness of COVID-19 and follow the updates closely, like most of you. Districts around me are closing schools for a minimum of two weeks so people can quarantine themselves and their families to avoid catching and/or spreading COVID-19. I'm washing, disinfecting, and cleaning like I have n the past. I'm a touch of a germ-a-phob, so I've stepped my game up. Some friends and family kid me by saying, "I feel like you now with as many times as I've washed my hands." Oh well, I keep the hand lotion companies in business. ![]() A snip-it on hand washing. I don't mind germ gel and use it a lot at school but washing your hands with soap and water is still preferred. If you want to learn more about COVID-19, click here. I've included a couple videos below for your enjoyment and to help de-stress. Education is power and with COVID-19, knowing things to increase your ability to avoid it (besides quarantine), and that people ARE surviving and feeling better, there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. The light shines in the darkness,
Now that the serious discussion is done, I have the one important question? Why, oh, why, is everyone hoarding toilet paper? Diarrhea isn't a side-effect of COVID-19. I understand the minimum quarantine is fourteen days yet can't grasp why one family needs cases of toilet paper. Although I can't answer this question or understand the bulk shopping, I have found a positive. Here it is...the toilet paper posts and discussions have brought humor to social media in the midst of a scary and uncertain time. So whether you are a toilet paper hoarder, a meme sharer on social media, or one hiding out until this passes. Remember to share the light, laughter, and love. God has overcome the world already, this too shall pass. Remember, tomorrow, Sunday, March 15th
