Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

Father's Day 2016![]() As much as I'd love to share memories captured in photographs with my Dad, I respect his wish to stay off the blog so it's our annual stick picture drawing. Love you Dad - Happy Father's Day! Thankful for the opportunity to honor God and share His message with the Dads (and their families) in attendance at the Lycoming Methodist Church this morning. God placed this message on my heart and He overwhelmed me with the impact it had on the fathers and their loved ones. ![]() A father LEADS... “The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.” Proverbs 20:7 NLT ![]() A father TEACHES... “My children, listen when your father corrects you. Pay attention and learn good judgment, for I am giving you good guidance. Don’t turn away from my instructions.” Proverbs 4:1-2 NLT ![]() A father PROVIDES... “Think of it this way: if your son asked you for bread, would you give him a stone? Of course not—you would give him a loaf of bread. If your son asked for a fish, would you give him a snake? No, to be sure, you would give him a fish—the best fish you could find. So if you, who are sinful, know how to give your children good gifts, how much more so does your Father in heaven, who is perfect, know how to give great gifts to His children!” Matthew 7:9-11 Voice ![]() A father DISCIPLINES... “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:1-3 NIV ![]() A father PROTECTS... “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4 NIV "You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed." Psalm 139:16 NLT You are our super hero, and you have the capital "S" and capital "H" Super Hero as a model...GOD! ![]() A father LOVES and FORGIVES... As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. Psalm 103:13-18 NIV ![]() A father LEAVES A LEGACY... “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 4 NIV Dads, you are amazing, have the most difficult job
