Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

Where: Your own backyard, park, or in your heart!!! 17 years ago on June 9th, a beautiful 6 year old girl, Morgan Nick, was abducted from a Little League baseball field while she was catching fireflies. Morgan is still missing. Her mother, Colleen Nick, is a very dear friend of mine and a strong advocate for the missing. ... Our friend Julia had a brilliantly touching idea to ask everyone to honor Morgan by catching 17 fireflies and taking a picture of them to commemorate the moment of HOPE. I hope you will join me in catching the fireflies and post your picture on Facebook or send it to me. Please forward this event to everyone of your Facebook friends. Thank you!!! We would love to let Morgan's family know how many people around the world are thinking of Morgan and sending positive thoughts of HOPE to help bring Morgan home! I have met Abby a few times through the National Center for Mising and Exploited Children at their annual Ride for Missing Children. Abby's son was recovered and a succesful young man today. My sister remains missing. To have a loved one goes missing creates an unexplainable bond... If you have words of encouragement for Morgan Nick's family, please leave in a comment below.
