Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

Good Things Come to Those Who...![]() I saw this illustration and thought, this is appropriate yet good things come to those who do more than sweat. Good things come to those who work hard, who put others first, and good things come to those who put God first. Yup, we are digging into some Biblical truth. Are you ready? If we focus on the words, "Good things come to those who", you'll think of patience and the Bible is full of truths about patience and its importance in our lives. Let's take a look at a few, which verse stands out to you the most? Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:25 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. Romans 15:5 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! Isaiah 30:18 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2 Peter 3:8 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-- with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2 But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:13 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Revelation 3:11 Which verse stood out to you and why?
