Keeping it Real...
Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.
In God's Strength...I Speak
I guess I should start with an apology for the tardiness of today’s blog. I know I said it would later in the day but my gosh, it is after 6 p.m. already. Where did the day go?
It was a blessed and wonderful day today. With the car loaded with everything I needed for this afternoon’s presentation, we were off. We arrived within minutes of our set goal, unloaded the car, and joined our brothers and sisters-in-Christ at Fulton Alliance. We were welcomed with such love, we felt at home instantly. I finally was able to meet Pat, whom I’ve spoken with many times but had yet to meet.
With Ed and Mag’s help, everything was set up and Pat led us to the sanctuary and introduced us to everyone. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, Darlene, and Aunt Rose were walking through the door at the very moment we entered the lobby. Instead of racing from our home church in New Haven, we chose to worship in Fulton so the time in between church, lunch, and my presentation could be spent fellowshipping and mentally preparing – instead of racing the clock. This is not good for the mind or the speedometer.

This is my “Forum” page. I started this page in December 2011 so those who attend my speaking events have a place to call “home” on my website. Everyone is welcome to visit this page, read, and comment. I look forward to hearing from you.
After a delicious and bountiful lunch, I shared my message. The hugs, prayers, and encouragement following blessed me more than I could have imagined. Ed and Mags packed everything while I visited. Thanks, you are the best!
After a visit to my parent’s house to share how wonderful the day was, my mom took Mags and I shopping!! WooHoo…short blog tonight but much fun and memories made with my mom and daughter. Thanks Mom!
See you tomorrow! Be sure to visit the “Forum” page to see pictures from today’s speaking event and a more detailed blog.
