If you have or had children in elementary school then you are familiar with the 100th day of school. It signifies to teachers and students, the school year is more than half way over. Here on the blog though, the 100th day represents something different. In one-hundred days, at 12:00 p.m. I will sign my first book at a "Mystery Book Signing". The countdown to the release of Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey on April 3, 2013. You read that correctly, a mystery book signing on April 3rd at Noon! Location to be revealed through a series of clues on the March TOP's Tuesday blogs. Nineteen years ago we searched for Heidi but in 2013, I welcome you to join in the search for a book sharing hope and triumph after tragedy. No worries, if you aren't into games or scavenger hunts ~ after Christmas I will be working out details with The River's End Bookstore in Oswego, New York for an official book release party and book signing. Once details are confirmed, it will be posted on the book page. Another fun thing we are doing during these 100 days leading up to April 3, 2013 is to achieve 6,935 Facebook likes on the "Where's Heidi?" Facebook page. I share the blog on my Facebook page, Lisa M Buske but there is also a page just for the book. Here you can find mini-blogs not posted anywhere else and various tidbits not shared on the blog. Why 6,935 days? Great question ~ On April 3, 2013, Heidi will have been missing 6,935. Our goal is to have one Facebook like on the book page for each day my family, community, and all of you have searched for Heidi M. Allen! To us, each Facebook like is a sign of hope for Heidi. There is a direct link on the picture above or you can type in "Where's Heidi?" in the search bar on Facebook. Thank you for joining us on this journey to find Heidi and share "Where's Heidi?" with your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors. May everyone know there is hope! In less then two days we celebrate the reason we have this hope, the reason I personally have hope, Jesus is born a man. He was born to die...for you and for me! There is hope! As we celebrate the 100th day until the release of Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey arrives, how is your heart encouraged? What are you looking forward too? Where or who is your hope placed in? |
