Keeping it Real...Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.

It's Time to Rest...Special thanks to:
My husband - for covering me up and turning off the lights the past week after I fall asleep with my book on my lap. Thanks for your support and love. My daughter – for understanding as I worked away on my book and helping to watch the clock for “work” time and “chill” time. It was great to work and chill with you the past couple weeks – I can’t wait to read the book you are writing. My parents – for letting me hide away at their house away from my phone and for reading over my chapters with an editor’s eye versus the supporting parent, lol. Thanks for spoiling me while I worked – I felt like I should have been wearing a tiara. LOL Thanks for always being there. My “editors” – Beth, Mary and Amy: thanks for devoting time the past couple weeks to read my revised chapters and new chapters, provide feedback, read again and even all the calls to say “Hey, what about?” or “Did you think to add…?” Thank you so much. Your time, critique and input are appreciated more than you might know. Your friendship…priceless. My “editors” families – Thank you for your willingness to share your Mom/wife’s time with me the past couple weeks as they wore their editor hat to help me prepare my manuscript for submission. All my friends and family – for your support since July 2010 when I decided to be “Lisa M. Buske, Christian writer” in addition to my other hats. Thanks for understanding when I say “No, I’m busy writing.” And taking my writing career seriously. I love you all and am blessed to have you each in my life. My prayer partners: Thank you for remembering me, my writing and my sister in your prayers when God lays them before you. Correct me If I’m wrong, isn’t the shortest sentence in the Bible…”Pray.” Thank you! Thanks to all of you – for your support, prayers and feedback. I smile each day when I open my email to see a note of encouragement waiting for me in my inbox, or posted as a comment on the blog, a text, phone call and even in my mail box outside. I have been trusting my book and writing to God from beginning, it is in His hands. I pray to be the woman and writer He desires and pray for the publisher He has for this book. Thank you again! Each time I think, “Lord, It hurts to dig this back up – do I really need this part?” He answers immediately through one of you – don’t underestimate the power of a note, comment or text. You are an encouragement and answer to prayer – your words provide the motivation and support I need, just when I need it. I submitted my book proposal and manuscript last night to the editor who requested “everything I have” during my appointment while at the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writer’s Conference a couple weeks ago. As of today, three editors are reviewing my book proposal and one has my entire manuscript. Please pray God will continue to open and close doors as it pertains to my book – for it to be clear of His direction for me. Thank you. |
