This September, Ed and I became the parents of a high schooler. Wow, how did this happen? lol We continue to be encouraged and amazed as we watch our Mags grow up and mature. This weekend she will be in her first high school drama performance, "Little Women". She will be playing "Beth" for those of you who are lovers of this book and production. Her love and gift for theater became evident after her performance with the Oswego Children's Theater in third grade. As I watched her on stage during practice the past couple days there were tears in my eyes. She is a beautiful, talented, and amazing young lady. We are so proud of her and the other kids bringing this great story to life. I watched the scene where Jo and Beth have their last sister moment with tears dripping down my cheeks. My hat is off to the director, his cast, and all the behind-the-scene crew. This is a must see. This Friday and Saturday November 9th and 10th in the Avery Skinner Auditorium the Mexico High School (Route 104, Mexico, New York) Drama Club will present their fall production of Little Woman. Curtain time is 7pm, tickets are $5. See you there! I'll be there both nights to support my daughter and this talented cast as they demonstrate both talent and heart. :) For your viewing pleasure, below is a slide show of photography taken during dress rehearsals. A special thanks to Mr. Coughlin for allowing me to visit and snap a few photos to share. I appreciate it and I am sure my readers do too. I encourage you to get out this weekend and enjoy the show, You won't regret it. Curtain time is 7pm, tickets are $5.
