This quote by William Golding reminds me of the encouragement and inspiration all involved with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Ride for Missing Children (RMC) are in the lives of families experiencing the exploitation or kidnapping of a loved one. Each individual, sponsor, law enforcement, and volunteer helps to keep the families of the missing moving forward.
Golding's poem reminds us we need to keep moving or we'll fall off. This is the same with life - if we don't keep moving forward, life can become dark, depressing, and very lonely. There are going to be bumps in the road that might bump us off our seat for the moment but as long as we keep moving and stay on course, when we get to the end of this life, we should be able to say - It was a great ride!
I'm thankful for the much needed love, encouragement, hope, hugs, and inspiration absorbed from these amazing individuals. A special thanks to De Anna for helping with the surprise visit and your patience with my uncertainty. It was a beautiful day!
Thank YOU for encouraging us!
