I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Yesterday evening as we sat on the couch watching the the rain fall with the sun shining ever so brightly at the same time, we commented on the its beauty. In the midst of this conversation, a neighbor tagged me on Facebook to look out my back window. I was thankful and awestruck. We jumped went out in the rain and took pictures from the front and back, I posted a few on Facebook and then I noticed so many others were too. I messaged some of them and asked permission to share their rainbow photos too. For those who missed it, check out yesterday's rainbow. I teared up looking at the rainbow, it was a "Kiss from the King" - "A God Moment" - a reminder of how much God loved me. I spent yesterday sharing with the women at Hillside Alliance Church in Ithaca, New York. It was a wonderful day and I pray they were as encouraged as I was when I left. The rainbow was the cherry on top of a great day. A special thanks to all my guest photographers... As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, How does a rainbow inspire you? |
