Thanksgiving is near. I start my morning devotions by giving thanks for all I have, all I have endured, and all the blessings I don't even recognize. I pray you take time to reflect and recognize the blessings in your life. Here is a small list of praises this Thanksgiving season.
Answered prayers Birth of our Savior fast approaching Christ's death on the cross Dedicated to doing what is right Ed - my wonderful, goofy, & loving husband Freedom to say "I'm a Chrstian" Gift? Well Jesus is the best one of them all Hope I will see my sister again one day Integrity - His Word provides ways we can live as men and women of integrity Jesus Christ - suffered,died, buried and rose again King - Jesus the first King Love all around me Mary Margaret - our miracle baby New skills and gifts revealed when we obey Old friendships - reunited Parents who encourage and model values Qualities strengthened through my relationship with Jesus Reborn - a new beginning Salvation - the gift available to everyone Trust - it is possible to trust again after tragedy Understanding God didn't take my sister Victory over the fear, hurt, anger, & loss Writing for Him - a privilege and gift X'ellant and awesome God Yearns to spend time with us Zoo - we may be a wild mix of human beings of all different personalities and color yet this is the beauty of mankind - "God made each of us in HIS image!" So really, are we that different after all? What does your alphabet of praises look like? I pray you take time to develop your own list of praises. Thank God for all He has blessed you with and thank those in your life God might be using as a vessel to deliver his blessings.
