I feel better.
I'm sleeping better.
I've increased my 0 days at the gym to at least 3 -4 times a week. I mix it up between yoga, aerobic classes, and full body workouts in the gym. The last few weeks it has been 4 - 5 times a week and it feels good!
Over my Spring break a couple weeks ago I finally received new orthodics. Due to my plantar fasciitis and lack of orthodics, to walk for more than ten minutes was too painful. My feet hurt during aerobic classes but since muscles I forgot I had ached too, it was par for the course and I pushed through. Since getting my orthodics I've increased my walking time by 5 minutes each time. This past Friday, and today, I not only added running but was able to run half my cardio workout!! Woot Woot!
I walked for two minutes then ran for two minutes. It was great to speed up the metabolism, raise the heart rate, and have no pain in my feet. I celebrated with a little dance when I jumped off the treadmill, thank goodness there were only a couple people at the gym on a Friday night. This morning I planned to take a Zumba class but it was cancelled so I hit the treadmill before using a few machines. I was able to do the two minute intervals of running two days in a row and the only aching is in my legs, not the feet.
