In just over a month, Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey releases to the public. On April 3, 1994, the New Haven, New York community searched for my only sister, Heidi M. Allen. She arrived to work on this Easter Sunday morning with anticipation for the festivities after her shift ended. Sadly, she never enjoyed an Easter ham or finished delivering baskets and goodies to her boyfriend’s nieces and nephews. The baskets, just like her car keys, remained at the D & W Convenience Store at the intersection of State Route 104 and State Route 104b. On the nineteenth of Heidi’s kidnapping, instead of searching for our lost teen ~ I invite you to search for hope. A hope explained, shared, and chronicled within the pages of Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey. ![]() In addition to the book release party and signing at The River’s End Bookstore (Corner of Route 104 and West 1st Street, Oswego) at 6 p.m. on April 3, 2013 – I will be doing a “Mystery Book Signing” on this day also. As you know, my family and I, enjoy some fun and healthy teasing, especially when we plan to surprise each other. In honor of the 19th anniversary of Heidi’s disappearance, we are making you all honorary members of the family. I could just tell you the location and time of the second book signing but in the spirit of an Allen, let the fun begin. Starting with this blog, and each T.O.P’s Tuesday blog in the month of March ~ I will give you clues to the mystery book signing. It might be words in bold print (hint, hint), a photo, or maybe a simple “Clue #” statement. Doesn’t this sound like fun? ![]() Don’t worry, we won’t have you driving all over Oswego County looking for your copy of Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey. If you read all the T.O.P.’s Tuesdays in March, the time and location should be clear. Within this blog are your first 3 clues…did you find them all? Be sure to read next week’s T.O.P.’s Tuesday blog for more hints and directions of where you can purchase your copy of Where’s Heidi? One Sister’s Journey before the 6 p.m. release party in Oswego, New York. Can you believe in five weeks you will be reading |
