Keeping it Real...
Welcome! No matter how you found this, God knew you'd be here today. May you absorb the message He has for you. In 2011 I shared through my writing, today I've learned there is more to me than just writing. I have the energy and passion to share with others. Sometimes through Facebook live and others with my blog and most importantly, I've learned my passion to cook and bake is a vessel to share my writing and live presentations, while glorifying God in the process. I just needed to let go, and follow His lead.
Since August this weekly post focused on memories of Heidi and progress towards the release of Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey. Last week we celebrated the release and introduced many to my first published book, When the Waves Subside - There is Hope. Initially the TOP's Tuesday blog was to conclude last wee but I enjoy writing this blog so much, it will remain. Whether it be the memories of Heidi or the upcoming events, and possibly the combination thereof - this blog remains.
A special thanks to everyone for your encouragement, support, and prayers. It has been one amazing week. I don't know if anyone noticed on Amazon last week but Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey was listed in the top 100 on Wednesday, Thursday, and part of Friday!! This amazes me, out of 8 million books - Where's Heidi? made it to the top 100. I wonder what it takes to maintain a top 100 spot?
Of course book sales are key but there is another way you can help to bring Where's Heidi? back to the Top 100 list. Would you like to know how? I thought so. Amazon allows readers to post reviews of books on their site. Below, if you click on either of my book's titles, you will be directly linked to Amazon for that particular book. It isn't about the numbers or being number one, yet my heart was a flutter to know you jumped Where's Heidi? in those first days of release. Wow!
TOP's Tuesday stands for "Tower of Power Tuesdays" after Heidi's knick-name in high school for her stellar volley ball and athletic skills. In honor of Heidi, TOP's Tuesday, and memories of high school, let's do the Hokey Pokey. I know I enjoyed it after the book signing at The River's End Bookstore (Oswego, NY - signed copies in stock) with Heidi's friends from high school and my sweet daughter. It was the perfect way to end our evening together. Heidi would love that we shook it all about in her honor.
Have fun and Hokey Pokey yourself to Amazon to leave a review so others know if they should read Where's Heidi? too
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
