I'm glad I am using a generator to pick the winner because each of your comments touched my heart deeply. It took me days to respond because your words had such a positive and reflective impact on me. Thank you for that. I never expected such an overflowing bounty of love.
On the video below, you will experience the name being selected first hand. To keep with the April third release, the winner of the book will be in position #3, not #1. I used a program called "Top Hat" to draw the names. There is a choice between the top hat or a bucket and sea shells. I chose the bucket and shells to remind us of warmer days ahead.
I don't want to keep you waiting any longer....click play on the video to find out who won the Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) for leaving a comment on last week's Ash Wednesday's blog.
If you are an online shopper, it will be available at Midnight on Amazon.com. If you are hoping for an autographed copy - The River's End Bookstore, located on the corner of Route 104 and West First Street in Oswego is hosting a huge book release and signing party from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
In addition to the celebration at The River's End, I will be selling and signing books at a mystery book signing on April 3rd. As part of our weekly "T.O.P.'s Tuesday" blog during the month of March, there will be clues within the posts of my whereabouts prior to the signing and release party in Oswego.
What does T.O.P.'s Tuesday stand for?
What's the significance of T.O.P.'s Tuesday? Our Tuesday blogs are titled, T.0.P.'s Tuesday and will provide you with information relating to the release of Where's Heidi? One Sister's Journey. It might be an upcoming speaking engagement, the cover, an excerpt, or bizarre tidbits about the publishing process you may not be aware of.
Why is it called T.O.P.'s Tuesday? Great question! Heidi played volleyball for the Bishop Cunningham Jr./Sr. High School until it closed in 1992. On February 14th, 1992 the Palladium Times (an Oswego, New York newspaper) named my sister, Heidi M. Allen athlete of the week. This was exciting and we were all proud of her but it was the name they gave her that stirred the most attention, "Tower of Power".
