One Sister's Journey...
“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!
Patient endurance is what you need now,
so that you will continue to do God’s will.
Then you will receive all that he has promised.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 NLT
We all have times in our life when we need "patient endurance".
Is there a time in your life your when you found yourself saying aloud, " I can't do or handle one more thing Lord."
I know I have. The Bible tells us though, God won't give us more than we can handle. Before you start throwing tomatoes at the computer screen or poking me on Facebook, here me out.
The Bible doesn't lie yet at times we each reach a point when all we want to do is throw in the towel. Sometimes this can be the most important moment in the midst of the trouble and darkness we are in. It is (sometimes) only at this point that we call out to God.
He won't give us more than we can handle when we are leaning on HIM for support instead the various crutches we pick up.
If you are still in the darkness and feeling overwhelmed, call out to Jesus to help you through it. If you have already been through a time and remember the relief and sweet sleep you were blessed with after giving it to God, will you share?
You never know when your story might be the encouragement and hope another needs. Have a great week everyone!
