As we start our third week of learning at home, remember you may need a little extra time for relaxation. Although you are learning at home, it doesn't mean you MUST spend your entire day from the time you get up, until you go to bed, teaching and learning.
Remember, your teachers strive to make learning fun. We also incorporate brain breaks and moments of "down time" so you don't get too tired. This is one of my favorite channels, the "Cosmic Kids Zen Den".
When you feel like you are tired of doing school work, take a moment to relax your body and brain. If you fall asleep, this is okay. Your parents won't mind if you take a power nap, it's all good.
This page is a way for me to connect with students, share my passion to write, and hopefully instill this same passion in them as they learn at home.
REMEMBER TO INCLUDE IN YOUR STORY:
When you write, remember to answer these questions:
I gave you a few examples to get you started.
1) Who you are with?
(mom, dad, brother, sister.)
2) Where you are?
(inside, outside, house, barn)
3) How are you feeling?
(happy, sad, mad, discouraged)
4)What are you doing?
(playing, singing, dancing)
5) When did this take place?
(day, morning, afternoon, night)
